North Speed is an international logistics company operating across Europe with a fleet of 54 trucks. The company has been working with LINQO for several years, but as shipment volumes grew and daily operations became more complex, it became clear that basic solutions were no longer sufficient. North Speed needed a tool that would enable clear route planning, consistent task assignment for drivers, and a lower risk of human error in day-to-day operations.

For this reason, at the beginning of 2025, the North Speed team started using LINQO’s advanced route planning and task management solution.

 

Challenge: information spread across channels and a high risk of errors

Previously, information about routes and tasks was shared through multiple channels, including messages, emails, and phone calls. There was no single system providing real-time visibility into route progress, task sequence, or execution status. This increased the likelihood of errors both during planning and execution, while dispatchers spent significant time on manual work and clarifying information.

As the company continued to grow, it became evident that efficient fleet management was increasingly difficult without a centralized route planning solution.

 

Solution: advanced route planning and OnTrack Go

From January 2025, LINQO’s advanced route planning solution was deployed across the entire fleet of 54 trucks. It became the main tool for managing all transport-related information in one system, from route creation to real-time task execution tracking.

North Speed actively uses the following functionalities:

  • route planning and task assignment for drivers
  • posting declaration reports
  • trip and report review and analysis
  • the OnTrack Go mobile application, where drivers see their tasks, trip details, and Eco-Drive scores

For drivers, the process became clear and consistent. They simply open the app, review the task, and follow the provided instructions. There is no longer a need to search for information across different channels or decide where to go next. All relevant details are delivered automatically and in real time.

At the moment, North Speed is working together with the LINQO team on the Orders functionality, which will allow trips to be linked directly to orders. The company also plans to make broader use of waybills in the future.

 

Results: higher accuracy, fewer errors, better customer experience

According to company director Andrius Pečiukėnas, the change in daily operations is clearly noticeable. After implementing advanced route planning, the risk of errors was significantly reduced, and daily work became easier to manage and more transparent.

Over the past nine months, there has not been a single case of a driver deviating from the planned route or going to the wrong destination. Information no longer needs to be shared through separate channels. Everything is visible in real time within the system and on drivers’ mobile devices. Customer feedback has also improved, as deliveries are executed more accurately and operations have become more predictable.

“By using the advanced route planning solution, we see a clear impact not only on internal operations but also on customer experience. Routes are executed accurately, and drivers work based on clear tasks. This helps us avoid situations that previously caused delivery disruptions,” says North Speed Director Andrius Pečiukėnas.

Today, the North Speed team finds it difficult to imagine daily operations without LINQO’s advanced route planning solution, as it has become a natural part of everyday work.

 

Looking ahead

Looking ahead, North Speed plans to continue automating its processes. One of the goals is to calculate business trip allowances directly from tachograph data and automatically transfer this information to the accounting system. While this functionality is still in the planning stage, the company sees strong potential for further digitalization together with LINQO.
