The story of the man who infuses energy into our Germany branch at Linqo is here! Meet Dimitar – an adrenaline enthusiast who thrives on motorbike rides in the summer and skiing escapades in the winter.
In 2021, he found his way to Linqo to expand his sales knowledge and network throughout Europe. Dimitar’s complete story is where you can learn about his adventures, his passion for life, and how he’s making waves in telematics. If you’re looking for motivation, it’s already here:
-
Tell us more about yourself, your background and what led you to your current position.
I’m originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, where I developed a strong passion for sports and enjoying life. I get my adrenaline fix by riding motorcycles and bicycles during summer and skiing in the mountains during winter months. I relocated to Germany to learn the language, study, and embrace the experience of different cultures. It’s been an adventure journey, teaching me a lot about myself and the world we live in.
-
When and why did you join Linqo team?
I joined Linqo in 2021, driven to improve my sales skills. I have extensive knowledge about vehicles and a passion for driving and testing them. However, back then, I recognized the need to enhance my skills in this area and explore the new opportunities that Linqo had in store for me.
-
How does your journey at Linqo looks like?
Great! The chance given to me by Max, the manager of Linqo Deutschland, has opened doors to meeting a variety of new and intriguing people, both inside and outside the company. Traveling from one city to another, and even to different countries where we have colleagues and clients, is always a pleasure and a new adventure.
-
How you start your day?
I wake up early, stretch, take a cold shower, check the weather to see if I can go to work with my Ducati, and then head to the office. Once there, I have my first coffee, some water, and time to rock and roll.
-
What motivates you to go to work every day?
The possibility to learn something new and meet new people.
-
Tell us more about your hobbies.
My hobbies spin around the thrill of adrenaline. In the summer, I’m all about motorbike rides. When winter arrives, you’ll find me skiing. I’ve also been into combat sports almost my entire life. I did downhill and dirt jumping on a bicycle in the past, but these days, I lean more towards touring-style riding.
-
What is your favorite place in the world? Why?
Anywhere with family and friends. My favorite place is where the people I love are.
-
And the last one – could you share any advice for those who want to start their career in the telematics industry?
Don’t hold back! The telematics field has so much to offer, and you never know where this journey might lead you.
